Best fried chicken we have had in ages. All the food was great and the service was awesome. Price was good also. Will go back again.

Nothing blew my mind away, but the food was above average and I do appreciate the family style. Salad dressing was unique and tasty. Can accommodate large parties such as my family reunion. Get the fried chicken.

Food was mediocre, not much of a selection for a buffet. Fried chicken is supposed to be their best item, it was ok ...at least it was hot. Few selections of vegetables, salad choices were subpar and only a couple of dessert items. We went during lunch rush, our family of 5 and two other patrons were in the establishment. They didn't/don't offer kids prices. I wish I knew ahead of time. We have 3 kids and paid adult full price for them, they don't eat as much as an adult (even half as much). The building/decor is way out dated. I felt like we were in a funeral parlor. Bathrooms were not very clean. Staff left something to be desired, not very friendly. We were new to the area at the time we visited and we will never go back.

I've been coming to this restaurant for 30 years (since I was a wee lad). The first thing you notice when stepping through the door is that it feels like grandma and grandpa's house, it's just like home. The fried chicken, corn fritters, and mashed potatoes are some of the best you can eat. I could not recommend this place more!

The hostess was not real friendly at all. Ang the gravy is super salty

I do love FAIRVIEW chicken farm... only thing that I love its chicken dinner , and I always love it, really . And all of the time i had mashed potatoes, or fries from there it is still the best . Fries are better than mashed potatoes , but i still love it ... Who owned FAIRVIEW chicken farm , thank you so much for having FAIRVIEW chicken farm restaurant , I will not go every chicken place , except this one here. Thank you for making it happen .

The food is really good and ours was served family style which if you go away hungry it's your own fault. The atmosphere is a throw back to the 60s or 70s but it was nice and clean. The waitress wasn't very pleasant almost rude when we first got there but then mellowed out and got nicer as the evening went on. For what it's worth, the 4 stars is for the food, if it wasn't as good as it was I'd have rated it about a 2.5.

Chicken was great. Service was not good. We were served warm salad with no choice of dressing. Not offered desert and was sadly disappointed as we go every year to celebrate our moms birthday. This last one was her 97 birthday. Sadly we won't be back and there are 22 to 26 each year.

Wonderful local family style restaurant, not too far from the Peoria airport. They’ve got an excellent lunch buffet on Thursday - Saturday and you can order off the menu at any time.

I eat here every time come to Peoria. Everything about FVF is amazing. From the character of the building to the service to the food to the value. They always leave me satisfied.

I love Fairview Farms.Tonight is a Valentine Special.Two dinners,, drinks, and pie. $23.00.We added vanilla ice cream on our peach pie. Wonderful!

Fairview has been a family tradition for four generations of my family. However, lately it seems to be sliding downhill. It's always been pretty quirky as far as decoration, but now it's bordering on dirty and too old. The bathroom up front is close to the local gas station as far as dirty and worn. I'm sorry to see this. The food is still as good as it ever was but the wait staff leaves a lot to be desired.

Family style dining, with traditional country fare for all! We have had anniversary, birthday and one year Easter dinner, when I say dinners I mean with over 25 people here! Service with a smile and the food was delicious and well cooked, country style home cooked comfort food, the mashed potatoes are phenomenal! Family atmosphere, very nostalgic! Clean and well maintained facility!

A hidden treasure in off of Maxwell road up by the Walter Brothers Harley-Davidson. A family-style sit-down restaurant with great chicken and the roast beef I had there was also very good it was fork-tender. They have corn fritters that are very good served hot with powdered sugar. I found out on my last visit that they have a nice takeout menu you can get nice chicken dinners with all the trimmings for a reasonable price. They also have lunch specials during the week. A little off the beaten path but well worth finding

Celebrated Thanksgiving with extended family. Kept the buffet full and hot. Corn fritters a little over cooked.

The service was great! Food is good, but a little bland

So the fried chicken is the best! I agree with the other reviews regarding the owners attitude you don't necessarily feel welcome when you greeted. Our waitress was really nice. I'm not sure what was up with the mashed potatoes they come out hot with steam coming off of them but quickly gets cold. The fried fish was good as well. For three adults and two children I paid $87 on a Sunday for dinner. That's really high considering everything.

Little pricy but food is good. I like the family style chicken dinner. I think best salad dressing and coleslaw in town. They do offer specials during the week and very affordable. Also has a great buffet from Thursday-Saturday during lunch. Now offering homemade pies.

Dinner was great as was the service! There were 12 of us for dinner and we all enjoyed it! The chicken was so good, crispy and not greasy. We will be back!

Was told no room for a family of 5 from out of town. That was very disappointing.

I think the food here was great. There weren't a lot of people there when I went, and we had good service. The portions were great. I was stuffed. I plan on going back later on this week.
